These stats are impressive! John started playing with Killester when he was 5 so 33 years with the club. He joined the SL team at 17/18 so 20 years of playing at the highest level.
Sad night for Killester as John Behan indicated at the beginning of the season that it was going to be his last playing Super League. Such a loss to the team at a time when he is still playing impressive basketball and remains a beast on the court, a pleasure to photograph and all around good guy.
The team presented him with a signed ball and I’m sure this is just the start of his retirement celebrations from SL basketball.
