Delighted for our U17 girls. It has come to the end of a great season for our two U17’s ladies teams we have 28 girls between both teams and delighted to have been part of their basketball journey, most since U11’s all the way.
Both teams finished the season with matches on back to back days against our local rivals
Malahide Basketball Club, Div 1 taking the win on Sat at home in St. Davids and finishing in 3rd place in the league, Div 2 missing out by 1 point in Malahide on Sunday, currently 2nd in the league.
We would like to thank the coaching / management team Paddy Sullivan, Ali Connolly, Philly Clarke & Deirdre Wright. Many thanks to the parents who have sorted the table officials duties throughout the year and taxied your daughters from one gym to the next some juggling two or three teams and sports. Looking excitingly forward to next season our last underage and the national cup.
