A full, loud and super supportive full house at the IWA for the first Double Header of the season.
Our Women’s Super League team faced Leixlip Amenities Liffey Celtics Liffey Celtics Basketball Club in a Dublin derby. Final score was Killester 77 – 70 Liffey Celtics in a game that saw the teams matched for the full of the game. Lots of high emotion at the end but final minutes saw Killester pull out a lead.
Special mention to Mimi Clarke who scored a massive 33 points last night including 5 x 3 pointers! Every one of those points she fought hard for.
The final score for the men’s game was not quite the result that we might have wanted but it’s very early in the season and we have some key players still out with injuries. Onwards and Upwards! Final score was Killester 77 – 90 Eanna.
