In 1973, Killester BC entered a men’s team into the Irish National League for the competition’s inaugural season. Between 1975 and 1977, Killester won three championships in a row. In 1978, a women’s competition was established, and a Killester women’s side won the competition’s first two titles.[2]
Since 2001, the Killester men have won five championships and four National Cups, with the most recent title being the 2019 National Cup.[2] The women won the League and Champion’s Trophy in 2024 and National Cup titles in 2002, 2005, 2020 and 2023.[2]
