A stormy road trip to the IWA for Killorglin ended with a heated game that was a close runner for the first two quarters, with the home team only edging it slightly going into half-time at 36-34.

In the third quarter, the Pyrobel Killester men came into their own, and Kason Harrell in particular caused trouble for the visitors. Kason tallied 30 points in total on the night, 21 of them from 3 pointers, and his shooting prowess gave the home team a comfortable 11 point margin going into the final quarter.

Despite impressive push back from the visitors in the fourth, the game was Killester’s, and they came away 13 points ahead at the end of match.
