The Pyrobel Killester Men’s Super League returned to the IWA with a full house and the return of Kason Harrell following his injury the previous week.

The game was an intense pace from the beginning, with play going end-to-end and both teams scoring well.

With only 4 points separating them at half time, neither team let up in a blistering third quarter. Neptune scored 27 in the third to Killester’s 26, and narrowed the home team’s lead to just 2 points.

As the last quarter counted down, the teams continued neck and neck, with Kyle Hosford & Lehmon Colbert fighting it out for Neptune while Kason Harrell, Tomas Fernandez and John Behan battled with composure from the Killester side.

Question: When is 7 seconds more than 6 minutes long? Answer: When it is in the final 7 seconds of this game. Free throws and time-outs meant that this quarter lasted an age, and had the home crowd on the edge of their seats.
