It was back to League business for the Pyrobel Killester Women’s Super League team as they headed to Kilkenny to meet Marble City Hawks.

After their huge performance last weekend against Cup favourites Glanmire, the Killadies were surprised by their hosts form in the first quarter, and found themselves trailing by 7 points, before coming back into it and pushing themselves ahead by the end of the second by the same margin.

Cassidy Williams was on shooting form for the Hawks, but she was matched by our own Ash McCann, and although the Kilkenny team managed to claw away at the margin at times, the Pyrobel Killester ladies maintained their lead and came out overall winners with a score of 54-67.
