This was the second meeting of these two teams this season, and the Pyrobel Killester Men were fighting to retain their 2019 National Cup title.

Warriors were strong from the beginning, and had the ever supportive home crowd firmly behind them. However, Killester were not backing down, and the combination of Mintautas Bulanovas, Kason Harrell & Tomas Fernandez proved problematic for the Warriors defence.

Although the home team were leading going into the fourth, Killester rallied once again, and managed to close the gap to only 3 points, making the last few minutes of the game a tense affair as it looked as though the reigning champions might hold on to fight for the title. Sadly, it wasn’t to be, with Warriors showing some impressive shooting, and getting themselves a place in the semi final vs DBS Éanna.
