This game started off in a dramatic fashion after our own Antonio Odunuga was injured during warm-ups, and had to lay on the floor for 2 hours awaiting the paramedics arrival. The injury resulted in Antonio needing surgery on his knee. The whole Club wishes him well and hopes for a speedy recovery.

When the game finally tipped off at 8pm, it was a battle that saw the teams matching each other throughout, with Pyrobel Killester finally coming out the victors with a score of 67-70.

This match also marked the debut of Mintautas Bulanovas in the orange and black of Pyrobel Killester, and we look forward to seeing more of him in season ahead.

Final Score: Abbey Seals Dublin Lions 67-70 Pyrobel Killester
