Big Congratulations to our U15 Girls who continue their excellent start to the season with a hard fought victory over Tolka Rovers on Saturday. Excellent defensive pressure saw the girls race into an early lead through breakaway scores from Robyn Malone (16 points) and Ciara Walsh. Molly Heaney picked up the slack in the 2nd quarter with a fantastic all-around display, finishing with 13 points and leading the team on both ends of the floor. A defensive masterclass from Sinead Boyle meant Tolka were finding it tough to score throughout the first 3 quarters. After Killester perhaps took their foot off the gas mentally, Tolka staged a huge comeback in what turned out to be a very exciting 4th quarter, but the excellent shooting of the red-hot Sophie Russell (6 points) helped keep them at bay and The Killadies ran out winners on a score line of 46-41. Next up is Meteors next weekend. #TheFutureIsBright #TheFutureIsOrange #JuniorKilladies Karl Kilbride John Behan Colm Malone
